About Recruitment/Retention

Oklahoma Primary Care Association places a strong emphasis on developing and overseeing workforce development initiatives to increase the effectiveness of health professional recruitment and retention programs for association members and Oklahoma health centers. Our top priority, and the focus of a majority of our efforts, is assisting CHCs and other safety-net providers in recruiting and retaining highly qualified health care professionals to serve the needs of the medically vulnerable population in Oklahoma.  Our goal is to strengthen the existing network of health centers by providing better access to research and best practices surrounding workforce development, and to support policies that strengthen the primary care workforce in the future.

OKPCA provides assistance to support member CHCs and other organizations with job postings to ensure access to care.  The association also serves as the Oklahoma Organizational Member for The National Rural Recruitment & Retention Network (3RNet) and works with other organizations to post openings across the state.
