This conference is designed for nurses, nurse educators, and other clinical leaders who are responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining safe clinical work environments; topics will include patient handling and movement in varied practice settings.  Evidence-based practices, hands-on evaluation of technology, and an opportunity to dialog and network with experienced professionals are among key content areas.  Sponsored by Guldmann, Molift, and Hovertech.

Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN): Preparing Future Nurses to Improve the Quality and Safety of Health Care Systems

QSEN is a project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation which seeks to address the challenge of preparing nurses with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to improve the quality and safety of the health care systems in which they work.  This workshop-style conference is designed to expose nurse educators to innovations in curricular design and teaching strategies, research related to quality and safety education, and quality improvement developed through QSEN.  Sponsored by Kaplan Nursing.   

Register for one day, or receive a special registration rate to attend both days!  Lunch will be provided on both days, and continuing education credit is available:  4.25 CEUs are available for Day 1, and 4.66 CEUs are available Day 2.
