Responsible for program administration including: adherence to Board policy and procedures,
fiscal viability and the accomplishment of the Association’s mission. She oversees grants
management, pursuit and acquisition of funding and specified projects, contract negotiation,
public relations, marketing and promotion specified by the governing board of the
Association.
Ms. Stewart has been the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Primary Care Association since
it's inception in December 1993. She was instrumental in development and coordination
of the Learning Eliminates Child Abuse Program and Start in the Name of Love Program at Mary
Mahoney Memorial Health Center, 1991-1993. She assisted in implementation and later
coordinated the Safe Harbor Mentor Program at Emerson Alternative High School 1988-1991.
She earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Business with a minor in Management from Langston University. Ms.
Stewart is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class XIII,
and one of six national scholars in the 2003
Diversity Executive Leadership Program of
the American Society of Association
