The 51% user board requirement is a cornerstone of the community health center program.  Judy Grant, Director of Community Development is working to build new boards and strengthen existing ones by offering on-site board development and board protocol technical assistance.  OKPCA also provides on-site board development with presentations such as Board Development 101: Roles & Responsibilities.  Check back for updates of monthly Board Bulletins.

Oklahoma Incorporating Guidelines
To learn more about Oklahoma's statutes for incorporation, which includes bylaws, visit the Secretary of State's website at http://www.sos.state.ok.us/, click 'Executive Legislative' (listed on top menu of screen), and then click on 'Link to Statutes' (left side of screen).  Once there, go to 'Title 18' and select 'Expand' - then go to Chapter 22.
