George Taylor

Finance & Development Coordinator

George’s duties include assisting with the financial and development activities, accounting functions, financial reporting and acting as the Group Purchasing Organization liaison. Prior to joining the OKPCA staff, George was employed by the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas for five years with the Grants Management and Reports department. He also spent ten years in the petroleum industry with Texaco, Mobil Oil and British Gas as an Internal Auditor, Financial Analyst and Budget Analyst. George served for eleven years as the Chief Financial Officer for a private concern in Atlanta, Georgia that was engaged in personnel placement, payroll services, restaurants, hotels, real estate, joint ventures, a recording and distribution music label and a technology school with thirty interstate locations. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Accounting and Finance, he passed the Certified Public Accounting exam in 1994 and passed the Certified Payroll Professional exam in 1998.
