At the end of 2011, Congress passed the Fiscal Year 2012 Omnibus Appropriations Act (package summary is here) The bill funds HRSA (Division F) at program level of $6.5B. Within this total, the Health Centers Program maintained FY2011 discretionary funding level of $1.6B - for a total programmatic level of $2.78 billion.  This means the Health Centers Program will receive a nearly $200M increase to grow and expand care to those most in need.
